Default b16 lower retainer with omni power upper retainer? DO or DONT?

i just had the machine shop install new valve stem seals on both the intake and exhaust side. when they put the new seals on i forgot to tell them im going to be using omni power springs and retainers. so now that the stem seal is on i have the b16 lower retainer still in there. should i just leave the lower b16 retainer in there and just use the omni power upper retainer with the omni power spring? i think this is kinda sketchy but if its possible ill do it. thanks

your omni retainer kit came with spring seats (lower retainers) also? I thought they only sold the retainers (the tops) only.

"This is a complete set of 16 retainers and will fit: B-Series DOHC VTEC Motors"

Yes, key term here is *16* retainers. How many valves do you have in that head? Last time I checked, it was 16. Now, if you needed TWO retainers per valve (for top and bottom), how many is that? 16 x 2 = 32. Does this answer your question about the lower spring seat?
