Default b 16 lack of power

when i am driving my car at full power it runs good..but on the take off it lacks a little..meaning that in order for me to come out the whole strong i have to give it a lot of gas and when i change gears it kinds of holds back a lil but then goes..i thnk it might be my distribuitor cuz my timing is correct..what do you guys think it is?

could be a number of things. my car is doing the same thing (EG6 w/ B16) and i found out that fuel was leaking from one of my injectors. just got some new o-rings from autozone. will let you know if that fixed mine. make sure that you have no vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks. GOOD LUCK

If your coming from a 1.8 your going to notice the torque difference. B16 has practically no power under 4k.
