I dont see a warranty listed. Most companies will offer a year replacement program for new purchased coilovers. I've seen those sit on ebay for the last 4 months now. No-one has taken a bite. Relisted everytime. Spring rate for the rear is a little on the low side but the front looks good. Decent price! but i would make sure they give you some form of warranty before you buy them.

they say they have a 1 year warranty. the lower spring rate in the back means it is softer correct? what is a good spring rate combo?

actually thats not to bad for a spring rate combo matched with the drop they are claiming........If those coilovers allowed for more of a drop you'd want to look into a stiffer spring rate. But honestly if they are advertising a warranty i'd say go for it. The price is comparable to tein Basic dampers, and it looks like a higher quality construction.

the only problem i see is with this.

i think there are supposed to be three studs for the upper mounts in the front set. Make sure that what they have pictured is not the actual product, and the actual product will fit your ride.

im only to lower my car at the max 2in in the front and 1.5 in the back. i have the H&R race springs the ones that lower it 1.75 right now and that is plenty low for me. are the tien basics a good coilover set?

tein basic's seem to be an all around great coilover. I have heard nothing negative about them. They will give you a lower drop than the H&R's your rolling on now without sacrificing any ride quality.

maybe someone else here on the accord forum can vouch for them.

I'm on tein S-tech springs with KYB GR2 shocks. I like the drop i got, but since the GR2's are stock replacements, they seem to be a little on the loose side.

yeah i noticed that in the pic of them as well as to the three studs. i think im going with the tein basics. i thought you could adjust how high or low you wanted the car from 1.5-3 with the basics? maybe im wrong. someone correct me that has these or knows the correct answer.

i know little about honda suspension, but 12kg/6kg just seem like a strange ratio
that's like ..2:1
are hondas that front heavy ?

with my subaru, if you want the handling to be the most neutral, the springrate numbers are a lot closer to 1:1
just a tad heavier in the front to make up for the extra weight at the front
having 2:1 on my old car would make the car understeer remarkably

I won't comment on the springrates themselves because of different road conditions and needs, but i'd ask the vendor to raise the rear or drop the front by 2kg/mm if poosible.
