k so the helms says to leave .5-.8 gap between the lip of the bottom of the plate and the seal. well my first shot i went past the lip got another seal tried it again but this time i managed to get everything exactly flush with the bottom of the seal i went past the .5 *doh
on me.
is it imperitive that it has to be between .5 and .8 or can i just run it the way it is. and is there a technique you guys are using to not hit it too far or too short. i can't get it exact. i tried [happy gilmore]tapping it in[/happy gilmore] but i went to far the last time.
i've already gone through 2 sure its cheap but it will add up if i keep messing up. 16 bucks a piece for oem

I guess because the manual say sthat you should have a xx.xxmm gap you *probably Should*
to driver it in or out I use a roll of painters tape, (trimmed by removing tape so that the diameter proper diameter

i'm using the old seal method seems to go in easier than the tape. i'm also using a regular hammer that might be the problem. guess i'll just go out and invest in a rubber mallat and new seal
