D16Z6 mounts? WTF?
so i went to bolt up my new D16Z6 in my CRX today and i used my Si tranny, so the tranny mount lined up good, but when i moved over to the driver side mount, i realised it's not the same and does not align so i only bolted the one lug going through the hole. Do i have to get the Z6 driver side mount? I took a look at the rear mount and it seems to be off by like 1-2cm, wtf? I thought hte Z6 was a direct bolt in...
has your car ever been in a wreck.
maybe the mount is bent?
im using stock mounts[litterally] with a sohc vtec i should have replaced the driver side but i had allready eclipsed my budged.

I think you need to use the engine mounts that goes with your car. I think you'll need to cut the t-belt cover to get it to fit over the different driverside mount...
I'm only going on memory from what I've read in people's build threads... hopefully someone will confirm if I am right or not.

This is what I remember reading. The Z6 will fit, just use the A6 tranny and all A6 mounts.

the bracket that is bolted to the driver's side end of the block (comes thru timing cover) is the one you need to replace, using the bracket off the old engine
