Default falken tire size question

i have 90 miata that currently has rota sub zero wheels. the wheels are 15X6.

my tires are severely worn so as of right now I NEED to get some new tires.

however, i WANT to get new wheels and tires.

i cant afford the latter right now.

so i am thinking about buying some 205/50/15 azenis rt 615's for right now.

whenever i get new wheels i plan to get as big as 8 inch wide rear wheels. my question is, will 205/50/15's work on 8 inch wide wheels? will they be stretched too far to work well/ will i lose grip?

thanks for your imput.

also, if you guys can recommend some 15x8 wheels, that would be great.

Try asking on a Miata or Mazda forum, where they will have more knowledge about choices for your car. This is honda-tech.
