crx needing help wonderinf if anyone is having this problem
ok i have a 1988 crx with a h22 in it. my problem is thats i my clutch mounting braket broke. i fixed it made it stronger then that broke so i bought a newer style clutch mounting braket for a 1991 they are differnt and they are made a bit strong well i bent that. now i'm wondering what could i do to make it strong enough to hold up to the pressure. do they sell after market clutch mounting brakets? does anyone else have any other ideas.
no it doesn't move thats not the problem the problem is that honda clutch/brake/gas petal mounting braket are made weak.
The actual clutch pedal assembly?!?
Holy cow how are you bending that!
Is there something wrong with your clutch or cable that requires that much pedal pressure?
I have a pretty hefty clutch in my h22 setup and its been fine. What do you have for a tranny. If its cable to hyrdo what setup did you use?

A friend of mine did the same thing to his crx only his swap was a hydro D trans with the z6. The problem was that the ghetto rigged cable to hydro conversion was a P.O.S and the amount of pedal pressure required was more than the clutch pedal assembly could withstand. I doubt you have a Hasport or brand name cable to hydro conversion kit?
y6ea it worked good for about 7 months then the one time i'm driving normal on it it snaped so i fixed that then the cable broke then i bought a new cable and that cable made it hard to push then it broke agian. i'm not given the name of were i got the clutch to hydro from not top brand but the guys there helped me out alot. but do they sell better cables because that is kinda one of the problems and do they sell just the convertion for the clutch to hydro for h series.i guess i will look into that but. if anyone has anymore ideas that would help alot.
Wow, I actually didn't have this problem and my setup is on a 88' crx, maybe the model like Si has a different clutch assembly. You should check that out, plus I'm using a cable clutch.
