Default 07 Si spoiler on EX?

Can it be done? And if so, can the LED tailight be functional? aka will it be a clean install or lots of modification. Thanks for your responses

Very sorry, Im a bit new to forums. Thank you for the help.

Also is it very difficult to swap? Filling holes and whatnot? My technical skills with cars is around 3/10.

Ive read that you can also swap trunks. Is this more or less difficult than doing a straight replacement.

Again thanks for all the help.

I read the entire thing. It degraded into headlights very quickly. I was just wondering what would be easier. The trunk swap or the hole drilling OEM installing?

I have been looking into this as well i like the si spoiler look but if you go on ebay you can find them without the light on the edge and its more of a flat fin instead of raising a little on the sides its pretty nice i'll have to find the link and post it i like it better.

This one is the standard si wing not a bad price either

No reason to be sorry. If your technical skills are about a 3/10, I would not suggest you try this yourself.

If you really want to replace the wing it can be done. The EX wing is going to leave holes in the trunk lid that will need to be filled and painted. Any body shop should be able to handle that for you. You can attempt to mount the SI wing yourself, however the general rule is "measure twice and drill once".

Personally I would suggest either having a body shop do the whole job for you, or simply try to find some one on here that will swap trunk lids with you.

I put a oem si wing on my ex and left the old ex spoiler on there. I looks fine imo. It was pretty easy to do. There are indents on the underside of the trunk where the holes are sopposed to be. Just have to be carefull, the holes didnt line up completely perfect after i drilled them. I just had to make the hole a little bigger and it fit fine. I would take yur time and measure it out perfectly if you deceide to to it.
