Default 2007 SI OEM Spoiler on EX

Does anyone know if an OEM SI Spoiler can be bolted on over an existing Lip spoiler currently on an EX model?

Maybe i'm being unclear, I want to leave the factory lip spoiler, and also install the SI OEM Spoiler. So, there would be 2 spoilers per se. I did not mean removing the lip spoiler. Thx!

Not sure if you've actually seen it but it looks rather horrible with both wings.

but... to each his own.

The answer is YES you can have both mounted
(but looks horribly tacky)

I figured it may not look as good as one might want. Does anyone have pics of it done? Also, how difficult is removing the lip spoiler?

if you're double stacking spoilers on the trunk you might as well pick up GTR emblems and a sack of mahatma

edit: sorry that was mean... if you like it, by all means go for it

lol i was going to quote many ppl but naa well im the only i think with 2 wings the Si spoiler and the oem lip spoiler.... Or atlest i was lmao it did look kinda funny so then i took it to the bodyshop (as we speak its in the shop) going for a repaint on the entire car so i told them to remove oem rear lip and to shave and plug the holes and this is a replica from ebay which the paint was awesome for half the price of oem here is the requested picture

Hey! Thanks for the post & the pics. What do you think of your Halo projectors? Better visibility? Same? How was the install? Any extra switches required, or do they operate from the normal light switch? Sorry for the 20 questions!

np about the questions lol, i love the way my halo projectors look to me i think they are better visablity However theirs a big confusion on oem heads or aftermarket or retro fit and along those lines theirs also hid kit , on top of everything as it turns out (based on articles) hid and all that stuff isnt better visablity....

bottom line want top performance on visablity? customlightz.com for 300 bucks i think (double make sure) but they basicly change the lense of the headlights

you see if you put hid on the stock heads the lense are halogen and may heat up / melt etc etc or create hot spots , thats so far what i'v been told, so if you like the style of these halo projectors but want top quality you will also have to get better lense so that they can control hid and produce a better visablity....

sorry if im making it confusing

ok maybe you can get more help out of this,

my black housing headlights (ebay or not) they sopposly suck , why? because the lense that is called "projector" the cut off line aim beam is bad. so its a hit or miss if you get a get set. now what can we do if we want these headlights style but with real projector (lense) ? then we do this mod

http://www.8thcivic.com/forums...33800

maybe this will answer your question...
oh and these head lights are direct plug n play and use same bulbs

oh my bad i forgot to say that the only wiring you deal with is the leds , just wire them to the low beams , unless you want them to turn on with only high beam...

now that i just learned this information (10 mins before i told you lol ) now i can continue to make my best possible headlight setup visablity.....

read 8th gen link that is the answer your going to need if you end up with a bad set of those headlights ,... bad set consist of cut off beam being wrong

Since i'm approcahing my "5 post per 24 period" limit as a new guy here, I want to thank you for your help, and ask you one more thing... When you say your cutoff beam is wrong, what exactly does that mean? Is the one in the picture wrong or right? Thanks again!
