My '98 Civic A/C compressor runs on but shuts off within 20 seconds, sometimes it'll turn on and off on and off during idle. Basically it's not running long enough to blow cold air. The condition of the compressor looks fine, freon registors fully enough on the gauge, or the compressor wouldn't run at all. what could be bad that's cutting out the compressor?
