I would deff wait and break it in. Just take a road trip for a couple of hours after work and get it all over with.

A road trip won't do very much to break in the clutch. It HAS to be stop & go driving, so you're constantly engaging and disengaging the clutch in a reasonable manner (ie not racing the crap out of it). I'd say wait until you've got the mileage. If you're really tempted, just imagine how you'd feel if it started to slip really bad at the track and thereafter. Then your money and time spent on the clutch & install would all be wasted.

Just my opinion,

Ryan P.

If I were you I would find a place do to plenty of stop/go driving. Then after another 400-600miles will I even attempt to open the car up. After that, you can pretty much spray as much as you want but, don't waste your money and glaze your clutch just because you got impatient.

I beat the **** out of my exedy after 300 miles. I can still bark 3rd after 2000 now. No problems at all. if all of your break in was done in the city you should be fine.

Dude, think about it. You had to scrap the $ together to buy the ****, so make sure to break it in good. No don't run it yet. Remember all the hassel you went through to get the new parts? Murphy's law remember.
