Okay i have a few questions for all you great members of honda-tech.

1. Whats the going rate for a d16y8 swapped eg hatch with AUTO trans??
2. Is it worth doing a manual conversion
3. The car has a pretty nice body and full interior

salem oregan eh.. i used to visit there alot! have alot of friends down there.. anyways, back to your post...

i would not bother buying a hatch with an auto swap unless you are prepared to do a manual swap.. dont rush into buying a car, especially if its something you dont want (auto trans).. it will save you alot of headaches in the future

^^ what g23 said. You can find a nice eg hatch with a D16z6 and clean body/interior + a manual fairly easy.

I agree, if you haven't bought a car yet and know you want a manual, just buy the manual.

If your planning on swapping soon, milage doesn't really matter. Just get a clean bodied car with no rust and a good looking interior.
