Default diff. in vx and si(ex) heads?

Is there any difference cause of the vtec-e? My cousin needs a head and I offered to give him vx head I have lying around. He has a 95 ex.

I was guessing it wouldn't work. I'll throw that head in the dumpster. I just needed to know before I did it. Thanks for the fast reply

EX/Si has a more "classic" vtec design with only the intake valves will change duration and lift once vtec is engaged. the exhaust valves don't change

VX is "VTEC-E" which there is no lift or duration change for VTEC, it just changes from 12 valve to 16 valve operation. And like Mista said, the valves are allot smaller as well.
