Spring compressor???
Non-sense, my brother and I duel at 10 paces with loaded springs.
Remember, you only get two shots. And springs are heavy, so much more than 20ft and you have to aim high.

I would say they can be helpful, but not necessary.
I have used them before, and I have not used them before... Either way works.
Sometimes with some springs, its hard to get the spring compressors between to coils because there isnt enough room between them.
If I were you, I would just be careful, and not use them.

Lowering springs should not require a compressor to be removed from the shock assembly.
It's stock springs that are loaded while assembled on the shock and top hat. And Tyson tells me that it may just be the fronts that are like that.
