i spun a rod bearing in cyclinder #2. while tearing down the motor, found lots of metal shavings throught the motor. i have replace the oil pickup, the oil & water pumps. but my concern now is the solenoid. As you can see below the screen caugh some of the shavings. but there is metal shavings where the little round circle is. can this be cleaned and re-used. Or am i better off buying a new one? thanks

take a magnet and try and suck as much of the metal out as possible
