well alot of the times it seems that people are just doing the si clones with the ex. i know mine is and it looks the same as an SI. could also be people dont run the SI badging for theft prevent purposes. it would of been neat though if they wouldnt of came out with that thing of a hatch and kept it a coupe, and if the new SI were the same size as the 99-00. there still bad to the bone though.

Si's did vanish...to the neitherworld we call the junkyard.

Most of them have been stolen and stripped.

I am planning on it, but I am having a hard time convincing him to sell the car to me. LOL its a black 2000 si with 44k on it and some other minor goodies...

Oh ya and a clean title!

I see them all the damn time.

What I want to know is what happened to all the '96-'00 CX hatches? Those are by far the rarest Civic I see every so often.

And don't get me started on the GX. Seen one so far.

The only real rare 99-00 Si's are the red ones, from when they came out back in the day up until now.

I've seen maybe 15-20 red Si's total on the road since 1999. But the blues and blacks, I must have seen hundreds since '99.

I believe twice as many EBPs were made as MRs or FBP. So MR Si coupes + FBP Si coupes = EBP Si coupes.

I still don't get how I happened to see a GX in ******* Delaware. We're not exactly environmentally conscious out there if you know what I mean.

And this talk of Si clones... I've never seen a decent Si clone in person. I've seen a couple online, but then again, I'm not sure what some might call an Si clone. An Si grill, painted sideskirts and Si wheels on a '99-'00 EX coupe doesn't look make the car like an Si to me.

Si clone = Too much money to make a slow, common car look like a slightly less slow, slightly less common car.
