9500rpm?
im about to build my head that will make power up to 9200 but start dropping and i want to rev atleast to 9500 so i end up in the highest rpm possible on the next gear
im leaving the block bone stock though.
will the stock block handle 9500 occassionally??? like once a week?

No.
Just remember what RPM stands for... Ruins Perfect Motors. On stock bottom end, I personally wouldn't turn past 9,000RPM. I've heard of stock R bottom ends turning to around 9,600RPM before catastrophic failure, but I would NOT push it.
I'd keep safe around 8,8000-9,000RPM until you get that bottom end built.

I have a stock itr bottom end, stock itr head with toda valvesprings, Ti retainers, toda timing belt, toda cam gears and toda cams (spec C).
Bolt-ons include toda itb's, and hytech header.
Tuning is with crome pro and innovate wideband.
I usually rev it to 9200, but rev limiter is set at 9500 - I posted a vid around here somewhere if you want to see it.....
I mainly autox the car although I daily drove it for three years without issue. The rev limiter I used to hit regularly at 8600 but since i've raised it, i'm able to stay off it it more.
It doesn't seem to burn any oil more than maybe 1/4-1/2qt between changes - which is what it did when the motor was stock, although i am very conscious of proper and timely maintenance.
But Go-Fight-Kill is right - if you want reliability, then don't test the rev limiter too much! Unless you're making power this high, it doesn't make sense to rev.

umm, no. i have been running 9500 consistantly since 2001 on my stock bottom and stock head (toda cams/springs/ti retainers) with no issues....
this past weekend alone i hit the revlimiter no less then 18 times or so. so, if the motor is in good shape, i do not see why not.

I hear ya'.
I keep up my maintenence too, but man, a rod through the block hurts my brain. I'm just big on fail safe operation I guess. Good to hear turning a stock bottom end that deep has worked out for you.

Just last night this happened to a guy I raced. He had a built LS/VTEC (rods, psitons, rod bolts, race bearings, slight overbore etc.) I think he missed 5th gear.
He said he didn't.
