my sunroof is rusted to hell, its cracked all over the place. i called autoway honda today and they wanted 198.00 just for the panel i was wondering if any of you guys possibly went to a metal shop and had them cut a piece of metal the exact dimensions as the sunroof and installed it? i looked on ebay but most ppl are selling the whole sunroof. my whole sunroof is in working condition only the panel is rusted straight through. thanks for the input.

 

Hell if your willing to pay $200 just for the sunroof panel, then you might want to look into Vision's carbon fiber panel.

 

mines rusted too, i was wondering if they make CF sunroofs for us?

I have a minty no-rust working sunroof complete. pm me. I switched mine out for a fiberglass plug to save weight

 

ill take $50 plus shippin cost for mine. i have the whole assembly... motor and all.

 

i was wondering if i could use some kind of sheet metal and replace it? use some rustoleum paint and primer? could this be used?

I have a FuNCTIONAL CF sunroof panel replacement lighter and will not rust!! And it cost less than a factory replacment.

 

i'm a new owner and my sunroof panel has some rust on it. is the vision carbon fiber one a direct bolt on? has anyone dealt with vision?

 

do you make it or is it off ur crx? i would rather buy a new one then used
