How do you apply honda Shin-Etsu grease.
I've done it 2-3 times since i've owned the car
last time i quickly just wiped off dust/dirt/some old grease
whats the best method of applying it on
1. quickly wipe excess dirt/old grease
2. just apply new grease
3. thorougly clean rubber with water? and apply new grease

why? then its too oily...like the soft top rubber...if you put like even a drop on..you get grease marks on the windows. thats why i put very little on. it still works...a little goes a long way with this stuff. no i wasn't joking.

HAHAA that made my day. its grease you use to put on your rubber seals to keep the rubber from drying out and going to hell and crumbling up basically. and you can use it other places too like the soft top.

OOOOOH. I thought it was for the top, but it didn't make a lot of sense gobbing grease on it. Doesn't it make it all nasty and oily?
