All 96-00 EK's on F2 Function & Form Suspensions pls POST PICS!
I finally got "real" full coilovers for my 96 ek 4 door,... "at the moment" on stock shocks and no-name garbage (ie. ractive or ebay type) coilover sleeve set up, just got F2's for it "not on the car yet" and from what i understand hieght adjustment needs to be set before bolting in lower control arms,... right now i have the units off the car sitting with spring pre-loaded hand tight and locked, and lower collars spun as far as they can come up, from what i've been told that is already at a "slammed" setting, and if i wanted more i'd have to put more pre-load on the spring, which i know is worst if i have the collar spun to its max already.
i know there is a few people on this site that are on them, if you dont mind posting pics, and what the coilovers are set up at.
pls and thank you.

for some reason i have trouble understanding this thread... i'm serious.
so u have f2s? or u have stock shocks and sleeves? if u already have f2s then why do u need pictures of other EKs on other coils? what is this bit about a "slammed" setting... ? i'm really confused

edited.... i hope the educated can understand that... sorry trying to make sense while trying to sell service to nissan customers
well u can adjust ur supsension while it's bolted onto your car. and all you need to do to get the lowest settings is turn the sleeves all the way down as far as they can go hehe

Mind you known of these cars are "slammed" as far as i know, they all have more room to go using the lower mounts, as we do not reccomend slammage for anything other than hard-parking

the proper way to adjust ride height on these full coils is to just snug the spring between the collars and do all your height adjustments by spinning the bottom shock mount, which changes the length of the shock entirely. not the spring. this requires taking the off suspension fork (front) or disconnecting from the LCA (rear).
you run into problems if you start trying to just tighten of loosen the collar and tightening or loosening hte spring. can you do it? yes. will it lower your car? yes. will it ride like ****? you bet.
