I just purchased a SOHC ZC (OBD1) and I was planning on using my Si tranny ('90 CRX). My tranny has a 2nd gear grind. Do you think it's worth rebuilding it an installing an lsd (what brand) or purchasing another SI tranny and forget the LSD because it's not worth money? What are some suggestions? FYI, I'm not familiar with working on trannys so I'd have to get this done by a mechanic.

 

try to find one for cheap first. if the grind is not severe enough to leave you on the side of the road, keep looking.
