what are you trying to accomplish? Yes this is an easy swap but why? Pull the valve cover to find out if its an 8 valve, 93s didnt come with 8valve heads stock afaik

you can take off your valve cover and count the number of valves yourself. if you have 8 valves and not 16, the a6 head will NOT work.. there are not enough reliefs in the pistons for the extra valves, so you will just end up bending valves, unless you change the pistons to a 4 valve relief design.

well I wasnt being a dick... I was askin an honest question. I you are getting the motor free to cheap, then sure its worth it. If its an 8 valve motor it really wouldnt be bad for a turbo build, oversized valves, hog the ports out HUGE cuz you got one runner it would work pretty good... in theory. But I think it would be pretty cool to have an 8 valve motor that stomps bseries... LOL... too funny...

Yeah you can swap in the a6 pistons,,dont know what the compression would be though..

Also i think its strange that some d15b's are 16 valve and others are 8 valve..Honda does the weirdest **** sometimes

my personal favorite is the b20 and b21 engines out of the 3rd gen prelude.. they are in no way, shape or form related to the b-series that most people are familiar with.
