I was just looking at a car and it needs a throwout bearing, the car has a d16a6, how long would it take to do the throwout bearing
Im going to look at the car tommorow, What are some things that break on EFs that i should look for?
Where do they normally rust besides the quarters?

throwout bearing....give yourself all day to do it.
you should seriously consider a new clutch while you're at it.
as for rust, look along the windshield (A-pillars), and back by the spare tire

do some research in the EF forum....maybe search 'bearing noise' or just 'bearing'....
people have explained which bearings make sounds at which times (& under what conditions etc). i can't remember which is which.
i would be concerned that it might be an input shaft bearing, or something else INSIDE the transmission, that would be much more difficult & time consuming to replace.
