alternator belt?
you should be able to use the alternator from either one, in my understanding. the belt may be the issue though, you may have to get a short belt so the alt clears the strut tower on the ef, like a b-series swap. someone should chime in on this, cause im a little rusty on my dohc zc swap knowledge.
OBD0 DOHC ZC uses same alternator and alternator belt as the 88-91 CRX/Civic - OBD1 DOHC ZC uses same alternator and alternator belt as 92-95 Civic
i knew that my obd0 used a 88-91 civic/crx alternator and i figured that it used the same belt but i had to make sure. does anybody know how much most shops charge to replace timing and alternator belts(labor wise)? the cheapest shop i know of wants 2-300 for labor.
also where could i get a new mount bolt? the top bolt on my drivers side is broken. that and the broken belt cover is why i think he said up to 300
