I really like the drag DR-18 wheels and I can only find them with 7.5" width. I plan to wrap them in 205/40/r17 kumho spt tires. Will this setup fit and perform good on my h22 powered 95 civic coupe? Thanks in advance

At the track, of course.
I wouldn't get wheels that big for a '95 Civic, even a high-horsepower application. The problem is that the smallest tires available for 17" are 205/40-17, which is a lot bigger in diameter than your stock tires, and that means poorer acceleration, possible rubbing, speedometer/odometer inaccuracy, etc.
I would stick with 16x7 wheels, then slap on some Falken Azenis RT-615 in 205/40-16, which is perfect for your car.

thanks for the advice man. so I take it, 1in makes a big difference on performance. I just know the 17's will fill out better considering the bodykit and 1in drop
