Default Need help with verifying JDM ITR's authenticity from Hmotorsonline

Some of these questions may sound stupid to some of you but I really need to verify the authenticity of my ITR that I bought through Hmotorsonline. The oil pan has a stamped P72 and the back of the block (below the intake mani has a stamp of P72). FYI: '96-'97 Spec. with ITR headers, ITR intake manifold, and LSD tranny. I'm more worried about the block than anything else. Also, is it true that an ITR manifold cannot fit into a GSR head (this is what I was told from Hmotorsonline)? Tell me I'm crazy or mistaken, or is there something fishy here. I have my assumptions but I would appreciate facts or trustworthy opinions regarding this. Thanks!

Pretty trustworthy guys over there at hmotors. No you can't fit a gs-r intake manifold onto an ITR head. Everything you posted looks good from here.
What makes you so suspicious?

Thanks for the comments. My main concern was the P72 stamp on the block on the back side...but looks like most agree that that's normal. Sorry, for my lack of knowledge...but no, in no way was I trying to accuse H-M...I was just searching for answers.

GSR and ITR bare blocks are Identical when bare. It's the insides that count. Both of them share the same bare block, and oil pan.

Probably the 100th time I've said this....

Get it to be a sticky so you won't have to say for the 101st time.
