Got in a Accident what do yuo guys think?
Well like the title says I was in a accident today while on the way home from work I was hit from behind while I was stopped at a stop sign. The damage looks pretty bad just by me looking at it.
What I see is:
Needs new trunk/Bumper and supports
The rear sway bar is crooked and bent a little.
The quarter panel on the passengers side is crushed a bit.
Here are some pictures let me know what you guys think. Hopefully it will be fixable.

your pictures suck. There is none of the inside where its prob crunched. Expect it to be on the rack for a few hrs getting pulled. Its not going to be cheap by any means.
u can find a new trunk/bumper/support at a junk yard. pop the dent out, bondo as little as possible. sand smooth.
then just prime and paint the parts. shouldnt be TOO much. a body shop would be insanely expensive though

My g/f's car got hit in the same spot on her Integra, but it was way worse. It wasn't enough to total it, so I doubt yours is totalled.
Whatever you do, get 2 or 3 estimates, don't just accept the insurance adjusters estimate. They'll screw you over. They offered my g/f $3500, but it ended up being almost twice that.

that buckle in the quarter is gonna require a frame machine to pull it, you should not attempt to repair that yourself unless you have some experience with pulling frames. And chances are the rear body panel is smooshed in which is gonna need to be pulled or replaced. When you see a dent in the middle of a panel like that which didnt directly get hit by anything, that means the job went from something you could do yourself to something that you need to have repaired by a professional. Or at least an individual that has experience with that stuff.

Yeah I plan on getting more then 1 estimate. I am waiting on the State Farm Insurance adjuster to come look at my car then I am off to the best body shop in town to get a estimate from them. I will see how close they are.
-- I am not doing any of the work myself as I am not a body/collision type of guy. I just wanted your thoughts and if the car would be fixable or not. The buckle in the quarter is the thing that worries me most.

$3,500 was the estimate from the insurance adjuster. I am off to the body shop I am having do the work in a little bit to hear what they have to say.

It looks like the rear body panel is pushed in, and if you pull the carpet up on the trunk floor pan, i'm sure there is a buckle right there on the right side rail.
Other than that, everything else is cut and dry.
If they do total the car, you can always buy the car back for the salvage value of the car and take the rest of the oney and find some place that will fix it for the remainder of the cost.

I know the car is not totalled I have already gotten a estimate from the insurance company and have made an appointment at a local body shop. I will have updated pictures in a little bit when the car is done. My appointment isnt untill next monday though. Couldnt get in any sooner.
