i am hooking up the air fuel ratio guage..i am wondering what wire do i splice the green wire into?

 

and its a wire it yourself o2 sensor..so it has 2 white wires. a black and grey

What type of gauge is it and doesn't it have instructions?

 

ok and i need help on wiring this thing in...my car has the following wires..
orange with black stripe
yellow w/ black stripe
green w/ white stripe
white

and my sensor has
2 whites
black
grey

 

power, ground, signal.

Thats all you need to get that useless gauge working. Power is going to be anything that is 12v and is powered by the ignition. Your ground is going to be anything on the chassis. Your going to take the signal wire from the gauge and send it to the signal wire on the o2 sensor (which i believe is one of the white ones).

 

i found out that the signal is the black one..i kno how to wire the guage now..but what wires do i connect for the o2 to my wiring harness..

 

anyone?

im not asking about the guage anymore..i need to know how to wire the o2 sensor

If people are trying to help you they might need some info, that would be why they might ask you a question. You're making it very hard for anyone to help, what is so hard for you to understand about that? Oops, I asked another question .....

 

Different gauges and o2 sensors have different wire colors. By letting us know the brand, then we can help you more.
