Need help. Brake problem.
Alright this started happening not too long ago and simply just out of the blue. When I push on the brakes over 30mph my wheels start to shake, making the whole car and steering wheel shake. Everything is stock up front w/ eibach pro springs. Is this a common problem that just requires replacement of basic brake components? Any ideas?
Yes I can, but very light. I'm sure the pulsations are caused by the front wheels shaking and the brakes being applied. The car and steering wheel shake a whole lot more than the petal pulsates.
I would say that your problems would be brake rotors. Mine is doing the same thing. You might be able to make it a little better if you take if up to 50- 60 and brake hard to heat up the brakes (DO NOT STOP ALL THE WAY) and repeat then drive around and let them cool. Sometimes this will help by removing the brake material that has built up on the rotors.

It could be warped rotors OR unevenly worn pads.

Any buildup should be removed with brake cleaner, not driving like a dumbass.

Well what the hell else builds up on there?

you probably have warped rotors and you need to just resurface or buy new rotors.
HOWEVER, the warped rotors arent making your whole car shake. your balljoints and or tie rods and or steering rack bushings are shot and need replacement.
warped rotors on a sound chassis just makes a mild pulsating. a worn suspension will amplify the pulsating into the violent shaking youre describing.
if you just change your rotors now ignore everything else, then youll likely have to deal with them again soon as the play helps cause the rotors to warp. its a chicken and egg situation.

I don't know much about suspension but is there an easy way to identify which one of those things could be the problem, on top of the warped rotors? Or should I just go out and replace all of them?
Thanks for the response.

We call that brake dust. "brake material" Shouldn't build up on the surface of the rotor as the pad itseld will wipe anything off the surface that's not a lubricant. And brake pad material is NOT a lubricant in any way, shape, or form.

I never said anything about it being a lubricant and if the brakes are hot then there is no reason that it wouldn't get on the rotor and stay. but that’s because I know it works but ohh well you dont have to believe me
