Car idles fine when cold, dies at idle when warmed up
I have a 98 CX manual car. Idles fine and seems to run fine but once it warms up it wont idle, it just dies, can be started right back up but just wont idle when warm.
any guesses??

Try spraying some throttle body cleaner down into the Tb and make sure you spray down the back of the TB plate especially and all the inside walls. See if that helps.
I'm a little surprised that it hasn't thrown a light which is why I suggested throwing some cleaner in there. Typically, if a car runs like yours does when it's cold and only stalls out when it's warm, it suggests that there is a sensor problem. This is because when you first start your car when it's cold, it runs in "open loop mode" and ignores most sensor inputs. Once warm, it switches over to "closed loop" mode and if a sensor is faulty, it will cause idle and often drive-ability problems. Since your car is OBD 2, it should throw a code fairly quickly if somethings not right like a sensor. But because it hasn't, it tells me to look at something less obvious like carbon buildup on the throttle plate area. If it was a fuel pump relay it would do similar things except that it should be hard to start or not start at all while it's warm, until it cools down. It could also be your ignition coil/ignitor breaking down too..
