guys i have a 95 accord ex. i recently spun a bearing in my bottom end and 2marrow i was going to go to a local junk yard to pick up a new block. I wanted to know can i put my sohc vtec head on any f22 blocks even if there a older year an a non vtec block. will it work? if i get a non vtec block, what will i have to do to make my sohc vtec head work with the non-vtec block.

 

same as a ls/vtec take the block for oil line check and a parts store and see if the head caskets are the same also

yes, you can take an older F22 non-vtec block or probably even a newer F22/F23 block and make it work.
