Default What intake mani should I choose and why??? Blox, or Edelbrock??

I'm doing a really nicely built B16 turbo hatch with a GSR head and I'd like some insight on what people think about the Blox and Edelbrock intake manifolds? Which do you personally think is better for me and why? I'm only shooting for 300-350whp for now, but have bigger better plans for later. Thanks for your time.

If you have plans to upgrade then just buy the edlebrock now. Great manifold for a great price. Alot of people use this intake manifold with great success. Not that the blox is junk but I think the Edlebrock better suits you if you plan to upgrade.

Someone put me right on this,
Hypothetically, you have 10psi of pressure in an inlet manifold, why will a larger manifold be any better?
Both will hold 10psi just that one will hold a lot more in terms of volume?
I understand flow can be dependant of the design but I thought the OE Honda units were equal to the off the shelf after market units?

No no, I mean that I'm going to go with a bigger engine later, just rockin' a stock B16 for now, and putting in a 2liter later. I'm wondering which manifold people like more for boost on any setup, b series, h series, k series, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0 etc. I'm looking for the one that will give me more power or just better bang for the money I'm spending.

im running a 2 liter lsvtec with a blox intake manifold. sure beats the obd0 b16 one i had haha.

the edlebrock is a very very good manifold, however its design yeilds itself to higher rpms for pwer gains. i was just looking for something better than the oe b16 and that would help me keep a midrange 5000-6000 rpm power band going. for the 150 bucks i paid i like the blox

There are two considerable differences in the two manifolds.

Edelbrock - Short runners and large plenum. This would be a good manifold for more top end power because of the shorter runners. It is awesome on a turbo setup.

Blox - Long runners and smaller plenum. It is made for more midrange power and suits a allmotor car better in my opinion!

Thank you, that's all I needed, I believe I'm going to go with a Edelbrock intake mani then.
