Default what do you guys think of my time at the track

I recently got my ls v dyno tuned @ DNR Performance 263whp @9.5 psi. Ek hatch with full interior
Drag turbo kit 8:8 wiseco pistons
IM running federal street tires stock tire pressure 30 psi and launching @ 2500.
Here are my results. I dont know why IM trapping such low speed.
60ft
2.307
1/4 13.87 @ 106mph
R/T .150
Im not a good driver, Im burning 1st , 2nd gear and finally grabbing traction 3rd Gear. Please comment on how I can improve my time . I want to hit 12's with slicks. Im heading back to the track on Wednesday night.

well your on street tires so its not really a good idea.
You want 12s? Get slicks, Launch the hell out of it and shift like you stole it

You can run 12's on drag radials. Slicks will definately get 12's. 263whp and only 106mph? Your car must be a pig.

I THINK the wheel hop is killing me. Im running stock honda oem motor mounts on my setup. Im saving up money for hasports. Does upgrading to hasports really make big difference in 60ft times AND 1/4?

if you want to get rid of wheelhop, get a traction bar or slicks. I have hasport mount and still get the same whellhop

carefull with the traction bars, they'll increase your chance of snappping the oem axles or mounts.

Get mounts first, then axles, then trac bars. Unless it's okay to have your car down for a couple days getting fixed.

BTW - get slicks or drag radials and launch the hell out of it.

106mph is dragging *** a little with that power

give us more details on the slip!
and get a new motor mount that driver side one always goes bad

traction bars are not needed to achive good times btw

Drop your tire pres to about 22 psi, preload the clutch, and slip the clutch on launch and you can improve on that 60' by a couple of tenths at least.
You just have to practice, and try not to spin the tires.

what you need to know about the slip? I know its dragging but it has that much power per dyno. I redyno before, and puts down same power on same psi level at different dyno, so my motor is healthy

there is nothing wrong with your trap... i was making 296whp and trapping 107 now im at 341whp and at 116... i can take my car out to the east coast and do easy 120+ there are too many things that will play in your trap speed..
