hood release cable broke..

hood release cable broke..

Well i pulled on the hood release and it was jsut loose..
and my battery cable is kinda loose so sometimes it wont start.
So i need to know is there a way to get the hood open with out buying a new cable.
any help apreciated.

Try pulling on the cable from up under your bumper.
