cooalnt foam

Default cooalnt foam

just had to change my lower radiator hose.
when i filled up the radiator it started faoming like the head of a beer. for about 10 minutes. then it stopped?
do i have a headgasket problem?

i doubt it.. after you drain your coolant, you have to bleed your system like you would your brakes.. air builds up into your cooling system, it'll cause it to possibly blow your water pump, overheat etc.. the foam you were seeing is a good thing.. air was just getting out of the system..

did you bleed your cooling system at all?

left the car running with cap off for 10 minutes.
the car had one front wheel on the side walk(elevated)
drove for two days no more overheating

there you go, so you should've known that the foam was air in your system...

ive never seen it foam like that before.
i know about bubles but it literally looked like i was poauring beer in there

yea, it does look like that.. ive had that and just basic bubbles.. you probaly got alot of foam since it was the lower hose
