I have a ex i want a si, Best way to go.
I currently have a 06 ex, rr 19kmiles. I think i really want a si. Can someone tell me aproximently how much im lookin at if i trade it in? I would like to sell it but sellin it could take a long time and its kinda a pain in the ***. My cars totally paid off. If there are any honda sells people on here that could give me a great deal id appreaciate it. I would even consider a uses si with low low miles and some cash with my car.

Well that's an unrealistic quote. An 06 ex should get something in the 15's in good condition. KBB doesn't lie.

Good thing about trading a honda at a honda dealership is that they will give you more $$$ on your trade. They are able to call it a "certified used car" and slap on a 100,000 mile warranty and charge almost as much as new. So, don't let them pretend they won't make their money back on your car.
freakin ripp off. 06 si coupe with 20k miles NOT worth 22k. get an 07 with 5 miles on it for 21.5. shop around the dealers...go to as many as you can and get quoted a price on the SI. dont tell em you have a trade until they give you negotiate a price on the si.

just tell them you want to pay what they paid for the car. They might not make any money off of it but its sales in numbers too that gets them reognized. Keep looking and shop around.

I found a 07 si rr with 3k miles on it at a deal. They want 19999.00 for it. I pretty much want to drive there this weekend., trade in my 06 ex with 19k miles and leave with the si. Do you think i can get the si for my car and about 3k? I dont want to go over 4k, whats my chances. Should i hide ex, negoiate the price of the si lower then 19999.00 and then negoiate the price of my trade in? Thanks.

If I were you, I'd haggle over the price of the used Si. If Jersey is anything like CT (which financially it is for the most part) a dealership won't go much lower in price on the car. Slug it out with em anyway for a good amount of time.
Have an idea of what you want for your car (15.5 or whatever you feel is good).
Then let em know you're planning 3 or 4 down and want to finance 15. If all is well they'll come back with a number close to or a lil above the value of your car. Now that you got a number, make em give it to you for their car.
Personally, I'd take 19 for the car, but always go as low as possible.

it might be a pain to sell private party but you will get way more out of your car i have a showroom 07 ex w/ rims/tires 3" exaust ect and the dealership i bought it from only wanted to give me 17k for it and they wanted a fair price for the si but the 17 wouldnt pay off my loan and they wouldnt budge but other ppl that have 07 ex's that i know were sellin for right at 20k (thats more than i paid for the car new)
it accually looks quite nice in my opinion and its only the cat so its not very loud just the deep throaty sound check out the greddy civic its a si in galaxy grey and to me its really nice but not everyones gonna like everything.
