Default cheap/free DIYs to do when you're bored

Im coming from Integras so I'm not exactly sure of all the small things that you can tweak and change on a prelude. There is a cool thread on Team-integra on this same topic so i thought id see what kinda stuff you guys have come up with; things like changing interior lighting, painting things, detailing+cleaning+polishing etc.

i guess ill start with cleaning the engine bay. its a really easy way to make your car look a whole lot better overall

nice thread idea

Cleaning the engine bay is easy, all you need is a pressure washer, degreaser, air hose ( to blow off the water), and tire shine the spray kind. first spray your engine down with degreaser, then hose wash it off, with the air blow off the water and make sure to dry anything electrical, then with the tire shine spray all of it down, everything. let it sit for a good 15 mins with the hood closed, not locked, then check it will look super clean. I used to work at a detail shop and thats how we did it, of course we had differnt products like the shine and degreaser, but works well

Remember to wrap up your alternator, distributor, and all other electrical connections.

For those tough spots that degreaser can't get out, I use Simple Green and scrub it directly with a soft brush.

Try making a new shifter boot and change some fabric on the inside.

The arm rest on the door is also red, it has too much glare
