I know its legal to remove the sunroof, but most people I see use metal or carbon fiber panel to fill the hole. I'm wondering if I can use a lexan panel instead of the usual. I want to keep it sort of a sunroof, but if its going to cause problems with running in street stock or sport fwd, I'll just plug it.

 

i have a fiberglass one myself, but i wouldent see why u cant, it would look more street that way aslo. u just cant use lexan on the windows. sunroof is a sunfoor not a window. so go 4 it


i only used fiberglass cause a company made 1 other than that i would of went your way. & after i got the product i wish i did make my own

 

I know in the rule book, it says lexan cannot be used on street class cars. but if we can use carbonfiber for sunroof plugs, does that mean we can use carbon fiber on the rear side windows too?

all windows must be glass even the rear side WINDOWS. the sun roof can be lexan i asked once already cause its not a window
