Default Help! Which one is my ATF?

Ok normally I can tell by color/smell but on this car they both look honey brown and don't particularly smell. I think I know which one it is, but would like to confirm here before adding Trans-X.

On a 1992 Honda Accord LX AT, which dipstick is for the transmission fluid and which is for the engine oil? There's a yellow handled long one on the driver's side near the oil fill cap and a stubby orange handled one on the passenger side, low down in the engine compartment.

Obviously I dont have the owners manual

Also what are the recommended fluids for this car for Oil (5W30?), ATF, brake fluid, power steering fluid?

Thanks!

The long dipstick (orange) near the driver side near the oil fill cap is the engine oil. I think the colors are mixed up.

The stubby one (yellow) on the transmission, down low in the engine compartment is the ATF.

Recommended fluids: motor oil (5W30), Honda ATF fluid (due to additives), DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, Honda power steering fluid (due to additives).

Let's say I'm not near a Honda dealer, Is there any acceptable alternative ATF or power steering fluid I could use that I could just pick up at an autoparts store?

You can use Dexron II ATF from a local autoparts store.

The power steering fluid, I don't recommend other type; but, see if you can find an equivalent of Honda power steering fluid V or S, at the local autoparts store. (If it's some other brand, see if it says for Honda vehicles.)
