If you need to go somewhere today then sure, 10w30 will work but i recommend you change it later for Honda mtf.

The OP can't do that as he has to get to work today and probably tomorrow too.
So 10w30 will work find until he can get to the honda dealer during store hours.

I've been a Honda MTF guy forever but I just switched to GM Syncromesh. Havent been able to tell any difference yet but my tranny never had problems so who knows. Seems to be really good stuff though.
