Default Another Tranny Question.. This 1 is Easy...

What does everyone use for thier tranny fluid? 5spd of course. is it 5w-10 or what oil also will work...? And is there such a thing as maunal transmission fluid?

Yeah please dont use oil in your transmission they are a little different. if you have a pretty nice car you cant beat OEM honda tanny fluid other wise NAPA or pepboys will have what you are looking for.

I used 10w30 and honda MTF and couldnt tell a difference except in the wallet

GM Synchromesh is great...but if you don't have any grinds at all...I would stick to Honda MTF.

It's only 2.25 at the dealer....50 cents more than cheap 10w30
