A few 88-89 cosmetic questions.
Well, I need a new passenger side fender and front bumper for my 89 crx hf. I just had a few questions. Will the 90-91 front bumper work with the rest of the 88-89 front end, or do i need to replace the entire front end? And will the 88-89 radiator support need to be replaced with the 90-91?
Now to my interior, I have the terrible blue interior. I recently picked up a 90-91 black dash, and I need to know if it will fit without any problems, and which door panels am I gonna need?
I searched for this in the FAQ and a few searches and found nothing.
Thanks in Advance.

No. The only thing you'll need other than the bumper and bumper support are the bumper turn signals.

The dashboards are the same. The difference is in the gauge cluster, the cluster hood & attached switches (rheostat, defroster, hazard), and the wiring.

The '89 HF has pillar-mounted seat belts, so you need door panels from another CRX or Civic hatchback with pillar-mounted seat belts. This includes:
- '88-89 Civic 3dr - all
- '88 CRX - all
- '89 CRX - HF only
JDM and Canadian door panels will also work. What will not work are panels from a car with door-mounted seat belts, which include:
- '89 CRX - DX & Si only
- '90-91 CRX - all
- '90-91 Civic 3dr - all

^^^ is correct.
HF front bumper supports are lighter than DX/Si.
88-89 are the same
90-91 are the same.
the don't interchange without missing a bolts in the bolting locations. but the bumper themselves are interchangeable.
edit:
the dashes are the same. only real difference is the wiring under it. you use your original car wiring. you will have a few buttons that don't work since you car might not have wiring for. (i.e. hazard button on the dash since 88-89 HF has it on the steering column.)

This is true, however the difference is not in the fender itself. All '88-91 USDM CRX fenders are the same. The corner markers attach to two small $1.60 replaceable inserts at the front of the fender. It's not the not the year of the fender, but rather the type of insert (screw-in '88-89 or slide-in '90-91) that determines which corner markers you can use (or vice versa).

No. All you have to do is swap the inserts from your old fenders onto your new fenders - then you can reuse your old corner markers.
You can't run '90-91 corners without also having '90-91 headlight brackets anyway, because the tab that the '90-91 corner marker screws into on the headlight bracket is missing from '88-89 headlights.

Just some friendly advice, don't get scammed out of your hard earned money from this guy like I did.
He ripped me off selling me a $200 transmission that didn't fit my CRX after he 'guaranteed' me it was what I was looking for then backed out of reimbursting me part of the cost after we agreed to it!
See my clicky below for the full story...just beware of this shady guy
