knocking sound at deceleration
ok when i come to a stop i hear this weird knocking sound coming from the left rear area. i checked all my lugnuts and all the suspension. i can figure it out. could it possibly be my tire not balanced or sumthing. it sounds kinda like a clunk clunk and as i slow donw more the sound slows down also. kinda hard to explain so i'm trying. anybody else experinced this???
Are you on your brakes when you're slowing down? Try engine braking and see if you still hear the clunking sound without stepping on the brakes.. It could be that your calipers are loose or maybe axle nut? Check your crossmember bolts too along with radius rods if they're tight.
ttt this is driving me nuts i can not fiqure out what it is i have dont taken the whole wheels assembly apart checked my drum brakes checked my suspison but still it knocks when i slow down only when i am almost at a complete stop does it start to make the sound.
