Default Difference in OBD1 and OBD2 block only

Someone trying to sell me a B18C1 block told me that there were no differences at all in the two different blocks and its impossible to tell what chasis it came out of without running the vin. I thought that at least the oil pump was different. Can that be swapped out for an OBD2 pump, and are there any other differnces I need to know about? Thanks guys.

oil pump itself is different because it has the CKF on OBD2 and not on OBD1 but the bolt pattern is the same. I cant think of any differences, they both have KS locations.

So I could just get an OBD2 one and install it then. I need to be able to keep it OBD2 for inspection then get a wiring harness for tuning such which is why I'm asking.
