I just finished the same swap and am dealing with wiring. I went about it the hard way and used the entire harness off an si. from the headlights to the tail lights... every last wire. Did you have any problems with spark?

Hey, im in the same boat right now with a d16z6, but im swappin the z6 tranny clutch and everything into a VX.

I just pulled my motor out and I saw that theres not gonna be a cat cuz the VX and the CX have the header-cat.. So the headers just gonna bolt right up to the B pipe.

Havent started putting in the z6 yet. I still gotta throw the trans/clutch on the motor b4 I get it in tomorrow.

I'm thinking I might modify my P06 and modify my VX harness for the z6, and VTEC's already wired for Vtec-E, or I might go the easy way and get the p28/ex wire harness.

Yes I am interested in your ideas for this distributer as well. As far as I know, the igniter, coil pack, cap, and rotor are fairly basic in their function... increasing voltage and distributing power to the plugs at the correct times... the only real modification that could provide any benefit is going to an external coil.

i couldnt explain it yet, one of my boys built his an only put it on for races. he figures all kinda **** out though, he was makin knock sensors with **** from radio shack.

i ended up usen my cx harness, the wiren wasnt bad, only part that fucked me up was makin my o2 4 wire. cx is 1 wire. start up was good though, i still gotta go threw an check all the senors an make shure there all gettin right voltage.
