Default Sirius Satellite Radio problems!!!

I picked up a Sirius Satellite Stratus and went to power it up before I installed it and it did not turn on. My technicians and I checked it out, and it was only getting 2 or so volts of power, when the plug from the cigarette lighter said 5.2volts. So I tried it on another car....same thing. I ended up trying it on about 7 cars throughout the dealership I work at and had no luck getting the ******* thing to power on. So I thought I would try a cell phone charger for in car operation. That turned it on, but the unit was cutting in and out because of the trickle charger for cell phones.

Anyways, WTF?? I cannot take it back because I do not have a reciept, and I emailed Sirius to see if I could buy a new power plug.

Anyone know what else I can do???

Buy a universal power plug. It has all the different sized adapters and let's you choose the voltage.
