They are faded. I have red bulbs to help out the pink, but I don't know if I want to paint the red part with the clear/red crap or not. Other than the fade, they are in great condition and have no cracks or problems.

Wet sand them and polish them

 

Will that make the red even more red or just make them shiny??

I know they are dirty, but they are smooth and have a shine to them, just the red part is pinkish.

 

haha maybe its just me, but i cant notice a difference at all with those pix...

 

The JDM tails have the amber that goes all the way around the corner to the end of the tail lamp. USDM's have red between the amber and the end of the lamp. I know it is hard to see, sorry.

Pretty cool. I would wet sand them, then buff them. It's probably just the outer layer of plastic that is faded, but if the sanding doesnt work, just spray them red.

That is true, the corner wedge bulbs are useless, but hey, I am on my way to having a USDM/JDM EF2. Hoping to get me a complete front conversion here shortly. I think I can wait on a set of wheels for a few months.

JDM/MDM or any other Asian Market have Amber wrapped around for the 88-89


USDM have Red, then Amber on the round part, then back to Red.

Mothers Plastic Polish and a mothers small power ball on a cordless drill set on low. It'll clean those right up.
