I have a 98 Prelude and I want to put a set of S2000 seats in it.

Not too concerned about the passengers in the back seat... those are gone

Can I use the stock Prelude rail system for the seats or will I have to acquistion a set of rails also. I hope the stock ones will work because on the drivers side the door side rail is custom to the cars body and would be a pain in the *** to do something about. But I'm not really counting on it.

Also will the seats fit? I can get a set for $600 and I have them on hold but not for long.

So bascially will the S2000 seats just slide in on the stock rails is what I'm asking or am I going to have to bust it to get them to work (i.e. implant new rails, squeeze tall seats in, etc)

Off on a tangent, not that important, not like I use them unless the cops pull me over but will my stock seatbelts work?

 

600's a bit pricey imo.. i seen them at 300-400 before

iunno about that nice S2k leatherness but why not just get prelude leather seats that are made for preludes?

oh damn im a nOOb... cuz i was looking at this one guy's ad and he wanted 250 for his full prelude leather interior for 5th gens.. DAMN IMAGINATION STOP PLAYING TRICKS ON ME.

problem is i need to get the rails and those are hard to find and i dont know if that guy was selling his

might have been leather interior, but leather seats were never an option

eh, i dont even know. i think they might have in the 4th gen si but i swear up and down i have never seen then offered as an option on the us 5th gen on the base or SH

theyre sold.. but they have to had existed if theres a convo about it. perhaps not a USDM option.. but theres heated leather ones in canada and thats made for prelude 5gens... so can i have 20$ now?

anyways i've seen plenty of 4th and 5th gens with leather seats, more 5th gens than 4th

 

5th Gens definitely had the option.

 

well im from canada, and here all 99-00 SH models came with leather (i have a 2000 SH) and 2001 SE models came with leather. also in 4th gens, the newer SRV models came with leather i think.

whatever... not that concerned whether preludes came with leather. im sorry to whomever i offended. its not like i said something retarded like preludes came with 6 speed transmissions or were rear wheel drive. its just leather seats
