Default Lowering my DA

I just installed a set of megan racing sleeveovers onto my stock shocks on my DA, and the front is the same height as stock!? I put the rings to lowest point and there's still about 2.5 inches of fender gap.. Is it the shocks that won't let me go lower? or did i do something wrong? I cut the bump stop in half, and used the little red tophat it came with..

did you put the dust cover back on? because that'll hit the sleeve and not let the shock come down all the way.

Are the sleeves the same front and rear? Reason I ask is, my buddy and I got a set of Megan springs for his EJ8 and they were mis boxed, fronts labeled rear and vice versa.

thats a crumy situation. I don't think the stock struts would be the problem. stock struts are a little longer because they have to travel farther, but unless your sleeveovers are 10" tall they shoudn't interfere. I know my stock struts came with the dust covers that went over the rod that travels into the strut. I had to take them off because they kept rattling when I hit a bump. Maybe they're not sitting right on the strut? Also, maybe the adjustable part on the sleeve is upside down. Not sure if it can be mounted like that, but I'm thinkin back to the ones I had and I think it's worth checking.
