Default Gauge don't rise up

What would cause the temperature gauge not to rise up? It rised up before I took my transmission out, now after putting back my transmission.. it doesn't rise up?

I replaced the thermostat 2 times now within a week because the first one was defected. I hear my fan turns on which means the car isn't over heating but I just like to know where my heat degrees is at on the temperature gauge.

So what could cause it not to rise up? Any plugs that aren't plug? Help =D

Check that the wire is connected to the sensor for the dashboard gauge, # 13 in this picture:

Update: all plugs that I removed are plugged back into place. Any help anyone?

Doesn't seem like there's anymuch tech information around here anymore. Not like how it use to be 2 years ago.

Guessing it was the plug the previous poster noted. Seemed like they posted at the same time and the OP didn't see the relevant post.
